15492-3 The Routt County Weed Advisory Board, as directed the Board of County Commissioners for Routt County, is accepting range improvement project proposals to be funded from the Range Investment Fund. Projects to be considered may include; weed control for weeds on Colorado’s A, B and C lists, fencing improvements or new construction, water development, predator control and livestock handling facilities. Priority will be given to projects submitted by Routt County BLM permittees, but not to the exclusion of other applicants where projects may benefit range management in Routt County. All projects must be for work in Routt County. Projects are to be completed by the end of calendar year 2017, but multi-year projects will be considered if designed with annual work plans and annual completion thresholds. All projects involving surface disturbance will require weed management and reclamation plans. Such plans may be developed with the assistance of the Routt County Weed Program. Each proposal shall include a project description, a map showing the work location(s), an anticipated start date, a project budget (including in kind contributions) and a projected completion date. The blasting program will be conducted within the following areas: Kimber-Pit Sections 31 and 32, T6N, R90W, and Sections 5 and 6, T5N, R90W Lancaster-Pit Sections 31 and 32, T6N, R90W, and Sections 5 and 6, T5N, R90W Ashmore-Pit Section 35, T6N, R91W The blasting program will be conducted daily between sunrise and sunset. Orange cones and/or 30” red and white octagon signs stating “Keep Out-Stop-Blasting Area” will identify all active blast patterns. In addition, guards will be placed at all major roadways that access the blast area at least 10 minutes prior to detonation and remain in place until the all-clear signal.
