SL-10 Partial Phase III Bond Release. The surface operation is operated by Colowyo Coal Company L.P. under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond release application was submitted by Colowyo Coal Company L.P. on July 18, 2016. Under the SL-10 application, Colowyo is applying for Phase III bond release on 202.4 acres in the West and East Pits.
